as indicated by the screenshot I shared in #4982, you can see I made an attempt to connect to a@conference.ubq323.website, but, like stated before, xmpp.earth is treating it as if it were a user contact, giving me a profile instead of a channel for messages..
attempting to send messages also results in an 'An error occured when sending the message'
