this looks cool. the only criticism i have is that the colour of links is too dark in dark theme (especially already visited links), but i am not sure what colour it would be good to change them to instead. if this is fixed i would be happy to merge these changes though.

i was in a similar situation a few years ago. the first couple of weeks after quitting reddit were difficult but i did genuinely feel just generally better after that than i had previously. it is hard though.

why not: because evaluating a regex against every single post ever would be unfathomably slow. instead we use sqlite's fts5 (full text search) extension to index posts by words that appear in them (or something, i'm not sure how it works actually).
