oh, unless you're talking about formatting, in which case markdown formatting is supported but you can use html tags too.

i guess you could look at https://g.gh0.pw/apioforum/tree/apioforum/mdrender.py, which contains the list of allowed html tags, and also the list of extensions to the markdown thing we are using. you can actually just use html tags if you want, you don't have to use markdown
